About Mary Anne Walsh , Ed.D.
Mary Anne Walsh, Ed.D. brings to each engagement more than twenty years of experience coaching global leaders working across a variety of industries in the United States, Europe and Asia. She lived and worked in London and Tokyo for 12 years before basing her practice in New York and New Jersey. During her time in Europe and Asia her principal clients were individuals who sought coaching to manage their careers while they were working internationally. In addition to her private practice, she has been a frequent speaker and commentator on cross-cultural and executive coaching topics.
Coaching is about change and change is a psychological process. With a background in counseling, Dr. Walsh has the orientation of a psychologist in working with clients. Her approach is to help executives use coaching as a developmental tool to impact bottom line results. Managers and executives in transition often partner with her to accelerate their growth as strong focused leaders.
Her very direct approach blends practicality, intuition, humor and sensitivity to the process that leads my clients to conclusions, in some cases, including those which they might otherwise overlook.
